In 2005, Snappers Waterfront Cafe opened its Tiki Bar - what came to be the first and only of its kind on Maryland’s mid-shore.

Since its inception, the Tiki Bar has grown to be one of Cambridge’s most beloved social spots. During the summer, one can find a joyful mix of locals and tourists taking in the waterfront views, laid back atmosphere, fresh food and signature cocktails.

The Tiki Bar hosts frequent live music from April to October and is always bustling with folks just looking to unwind.

After spending 15 years developing a reputation as one of the best local spots to relax, the Snappers Waterfront Cafe was rebranded in the spring of 2020 to “The Sleeping Lion” tiki bar.

The Sleeping Lion seeks to evoke the free and easy mentality we so often equate with the beaches and beauty of the Jamiacan lifestyle, with a Maryland spin of course!
